The digestate from your Anaerobic Digestion plant will be a very effective fertiliser and soil conditioner.

Is the digestate eco-friendly?

Yes. Anaerobic Digestion kills the dangerous pathogens that are present in the waste. This means that when the digestate is used on the land, no pathogens are passed into the food chain.

Will an Anaerobic Digestion site improve our carbon footprint?

Yes. For example, a plant saving an equivalent of 28,000 tonnes of CO² emmisions a year will have the same effect as taking 11,000 cars off the road.
